The time frame for your initial assessment and follow up visits will depend on the nature of your condition, the type of physiotherapy care you are receiving and what is recommended in your treatment plan. Typically sessions are anywhere between 30 minutes to 1 hour. Your physiotherapist will tell you how long your sessions should be booked for.

GlobalHealth Physiotherapy is paid directly from all insurance carriers. Some plans pay a portion of the cost of the physiotherapy session, such that the difference may be paid via VISA, MasterCard, Interact debit and cash payments. Payment is required at the end of each session. You will be given a receipt with your service provider’s information and registration number.

Most certainly! It is impossible for your family doctor to know about every single clinic that provides quality care; they give you recommendations but it is in your hands to make the final decision. You have the right to choose the clinic/therapist that you feel the most comfortable with and that suits you best. We are happy to send the details of your assessment and our treatment plan to your doctor so that they can be informed of your care with us. We also send progress notes and discharge notes to your physician so that your patient file is kept up to date.
